Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicky Wicks kicked off to start the match. If Nicky Wicks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Swanage getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jools Merrill hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Harry Pickering had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kris Le Tissier. Swanage's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Pickering was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Chip Todd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swanage's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shireoaks HD the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Swanage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chip Todd to maneuver through the defense. Brendon Doona kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Chip Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Bradfield charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Bradfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Swanage booed when Shireoaks HD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bradfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shireoaks HD's Denis Swift played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Wicks in the 22nd minute of play. Danny Sadler scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kris Le Tissier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Swanage booed when Shireoaks HD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bradfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Swanage defense, Harry Pickering kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kris Le Tissier. The Swanage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kris Le Tissier should have stopped the shot. Russ Bastow charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russ Bastow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Russ Bastow hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Denis Swift made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Wicks in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Danny Sadler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kris Le Tissier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicky Wicks hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
Kev Blythe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Swift. Shireoaks HD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Swanage's Kris Le Tissier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevie Heywood in the 54th minute of play. Kris Le Tissier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Sadler, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute, James Boulton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Danny Sadler took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Kris Le Tissier to make any attempt to save it. Simon Bradfield kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Nicky Wicks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Swift. Shireoaks HD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicky Wicks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Danny Sadler came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kris Le Tissier could save by the left post. Swanage's Kris Le Tissier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Doona in the 74th minute of play. Denis Swift showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Wicks in the 78th minute of the match. Danny Sadler hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Kris Le Tissier made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gaz Fielden sent off a good shot on target. Swanage's Kris Le Tissier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Swanage from getting a goal against them. Shireoaks HD played a much better game than Swanage and deserved their victory. The Swanage players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
