Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Zanardi in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jay Harris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alex Zanardi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Zanardi couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Zyerpaus defense, Alex Zanardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jay Harris. The Zyerpaus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jay Harris should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Zyerpaus getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Camron Hird hit a great ball. Clive Holloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Harris having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Black in the 13th minute of play forced Zyerpaus's goalkeeper Jay Harris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jay Harris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Samaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Clive Holloway managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffy Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clive Holloway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Harris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clive Holloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Harris having to interfere. Clive Holloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jay Harris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 minutes Zyerpaus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alf Klint who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute of the match, Pepe Guardiola got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jay Harris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Pepe Guardiola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staffy Terrier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Guardiola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Jay Harris successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clive Holloway recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Camron Hird was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zyerpaus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staffy Terrier FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Zyerpaus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Staffy Terrier FC:s goal. After 83 minutes, Connor Coombe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zyerpaus and the Staffy Terrier FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Connor Coombe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepe Guardiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Blair Speight received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andrew Harrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Staffy Terrier FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
