Spectators: 8079 (Terracing: 6061, Seating: 1858, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alex Zanardi made the kick off which started today's match. 8 minutes into the match, Alex Zanardi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Wooler's Joseph Mortimer. Joseph Mortimer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Wooler's Alan Noble got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wooler's zone, Clive Holloway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Mortimer came out of the goal and Clive Holloway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joseph Mortimer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 29th minute, Staffy Terrier FC's Pepe Guardiola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joseph Mortimer. Joseph Mortimer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Joseph Mortimer made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Pepe Guardiola sent off a good shot on target. Joseph Mortimer came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Staffy Terrier FC's Pepe Guardiola. But to his dismay, Pepe Guardiola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Alan Noble made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Glenn Sollit. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Alan Noble with Glenn Sollit as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Glenn Sollit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Olly Crittenden came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Staffy Terrier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olly Crittenden couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Glenn Sollit in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Staffy Terrier FC's Alex Zanardi. Clive Holloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joseph Mortimer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Noble's late challenge caught a Staffy Terrier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Noble helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wooler getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alan Noble hit a great ball. Joseph Mortimer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pepe Guardiola went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wooler fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Staffy Terrier FC a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Klint, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wooler's Joseph Mortimer. 8-0. 87 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Andrew Harrison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glenn Sollit. Staffy Terrier FC's Olly Crittenden managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robert Ridgeway in the 92 minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Staffy Terrier FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
