Spectators: 6850 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Keanu Postolan kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Sid Bedford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lindfield's Rex Brennan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rex Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Bedford in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Milnrow Uni's Sid Bedford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rex Brennan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Sean Millman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Millman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Lindfield got a freekick which was hit by Keanu Postolan. Rex Brennan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sid Bedford's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Sean Millman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rex Brennan was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Sid Bedford struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Rex Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milnrow Uni. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sean Millman in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rex Brennan saved Lindfield from getting behind. When Milnrow Uni's Reuben Cornish in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lindfield's goalie prevented a goal. Lenny Stockley hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Rex Brennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Bedford in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Harvey Hill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Sean Millman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lindfield's Rex Brennan. Rex Brennan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Lindfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Milnrow Uni were winning 0-3.

With a little luck, Lindfield's Rex Brennan got control of the ball when Sean Millman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Millman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rex Brennan made a huge save. Trey Shipley's late challenge caught a Milnrow Uni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trey Shipley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Lindfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trey Shipley to maneuver through the defense. Sean Millman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Rex Brennan made a huge save. Sean Millman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Rex Brennan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Harvey Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rex Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sid Bedford came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Milnrow Uni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Bedford couldn't finish the play. Daryl Adcock lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, one of Lindfield:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lindfield. Rex Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Bedford in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sid Bedford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rex Brennan was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Reuben Cornish scored 0-5 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rex Brennan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 84 in the game by Sean Millman from a close distance when the talented Rex Brennan managed to make a qualified save. Lindfield's players were relieved. In the 89th minute, one of Lindfield:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lindfield. Rex Brennan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sean Millman went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Sean Millman took the ball and in the 101 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Brennan. Rex Brennan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. When the match was over Milnrow Uni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lindfield throughout the match.
