Clive Holloway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Lucas having to interfere. Pepe Guardiola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Teddy Lucas made a huge save. After 18 played minutes Great Addington got a freekick which was hit by Danny Duffy. After some careless play in the Great Addington defense, Pepe Guardiola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teddy Lucas. The Great Addington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teddy Lucas should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes in the game Wes Rain did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tris Gardner. 28 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Cambridge came free, but Andrew Harrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clive Holloway fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 31st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Clive Holloway struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Teddy Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Staffy Terrier FC. 44 minutes into the game, Great Addington's Tris Gardner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrew Harrison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pepe Guardiola was the one to do the kick off. Staffy Terrier FC's Grant Black managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wes Rain in the 51 minute of the game. Olly Crittenden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Lucas having to interfere. In the 58th minute Staffy Terrier FC were awarded a corner. Alf Klint went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Alex Zanardi to score against Teddy Lucas in Great Addington's goal. 3-1 after 59 minutes. After 62 minutes of play, Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teddy Lucas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Clive Holloway had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 张朗沙 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Teddy Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Pepe Guardiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Holloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Cambridge came free, but Andrew Harrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teddy Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Guardiola in the 97th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Pepe Guardiola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teddy Lucas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Staffy Terrier FC fully deserved thier win.
