Stuart Allison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Hugh Houghton made a huge save. 7 minutes into the game, Stuart Allison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugh Houghton. Stuart Allison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hugh Houghton stood somewhat misplaced when 余义枫 came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Drew Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, 余义枫 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. islahiye spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but 余义枫 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stuart Allison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hugh Houghton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 余义枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nick Lawless's late challenge caught a islahiye spor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Lawless helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of islahiye spor booed when Theale AVFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Lawless didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugh Houghton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余义枫 in the 34th minute of play. Stuart Allison took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugh Houghton. Hugh Houghton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 41 minutes into the match, islahiye spor's Stuart Allison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugh Houghton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Theale AVFC's Warren Bowland got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt Waller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugh Houghton came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by islahiye spor's 余义枫. But to his dismay, 余义枫 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 55th minute, Stuart Allison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugh Houghton was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Stuart Allison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. islahiye spor's Stuart Allison got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 余义枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for islahiye spor! If 余义枫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Damon Harrington came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the islahiye spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Harrington couldn't finish the play. Santo Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Waller in the 90th minute of the match. 余义枫 kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Joe Whalley came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Theale AVFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Whalley couldn't finish the play. 余义枫 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Houghton having to interfere. Hugh Houghton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Harrington in the 98th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. islahiye spor had played much better football throughout.
