Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blair Speight got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Speight in the 10th minute of play forced Great Addington's goalkeeper Teddy Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damon Gulliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Harris was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Martyn Branch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martyn Branch really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kev Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Lucas having to interfere. If Kev Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wes Rain charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wes Rain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
