The audience thought a goal was coming when Reggie Higgins got free with Mike Walters in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reggie Higginss short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Mike Walters to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Crispin Collingwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jon Johnstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Boscastle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reggie Higgins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jon Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Bridgeman in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
