Bart Godsall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luke Newlyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Howard Howard made a kick off. Barrie Jobling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Luke Newlyn made a huge save. Frank Hughes-Guy lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Cressage City booed when FIVE Wizards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Hughes-Guy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stevie Waller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luke Newlyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Rio Clifford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Luke Newlyn made a huge save. When Rio Clifford was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. A collision led to Cressage City getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rio Clifford hit a great ball. Wally Grayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
