Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lenny Hutchins kicked off to start the match. Dominik Blake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Callum Howden made a huge save. When Nat La Forte fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Basofa Vida FC's protests and gave Nat La Forte a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Basofa Vida FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nat La Forte hit a great ball. Lenny Hutchins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Callum Howden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thom Falkingham in the 8th minute. Basofa Vida FC's Callum Howden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Damion Tompkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toby Browne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Basofa Vida FC's Callum Howden got control of the ball when Thom Falkingham tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boscastle's Toby Browne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Lock in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Lenny Hutchins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Callum Howden. The goal made the score 1-0. Toby Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rich Swain in the 27th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Boscastle's Callum Howden threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zackary Page, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Rich Swain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toby Browne was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Zackary Page reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Callum Howden. The goal made the score 2-0. Lenny Hutchins charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenny Hutchins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lenny Hutchins hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fraser Atkinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ben Mayfield's late challenge caught a Basofa Vida FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Mayfield helped the player get up and apologised. Damion Tompkins hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Callum Howden was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paul Richardson. Dominik Blake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Callum Howden made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Basofa Vida FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Page came free, but Callum Howden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rich Swain made the kick off in the second half. Basofa Vida FC's Callum Howden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Boscastle's Thom Falkingham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Callum Howden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 59 minutes of play, Boscastle's Thom Falkingham made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Callum Howden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dale Lock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Thom Falkingham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Howden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toby Browne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damion Tompkins in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Basofa Vida FC's Damion Tompkins got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Basofa Vida FC's zone, Dominik Blake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Callum Howden came out of the goal and Dominik Blake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Basofa Vida FC defense, Lenny Hutchins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Callum Howden. The Basofa Vida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Callum Howden should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Hutchins in the 80th minute of play forced Basofa Vida FC's goalkeeper Callum Howden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Lenny Hutchins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boscastle's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenny Hutchins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Callum Howden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Callum Howden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wally Dearden kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. With 95 minutes on the clock, John Paul Jowsey commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Basofa Vida FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
