The referee ignored Boscastle's protests and gave Grant Higgins a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Boscastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Higgins to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don McGrath got free with Stan Webster in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Don McGrath recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stan Webster. Don McGrath showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jeremy Pickard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Walters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Crosby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Boscastle's Stan Webster threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bradley Rusby, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stan Webster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don McGrath in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Don McGrath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Don McGrath could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Stan Webster made a huge save. A collision led to Euston City getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Euston City's Stan Webster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Euston City from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Boscastle's zone, Kirk Straker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike Walters came out of the goal and Kirk Straker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stan Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Bridgeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Don McGrath did an outstanding performance 46 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Stan Webster in the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Matthew Bridgeman made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Crispin Collingwood during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st minute, Crispin Collingwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mike Walters made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Kirk Straker sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Pickard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Lewis Van Der Hoorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirk Straker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mike Walters. Boscastle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Boscastle's Bradley Rusby got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Euston City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boscastle.
