Jeffrey Colley scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Speight, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Evolution's goal looked a bit too open when Ash Hudson came free, but Grant Rooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jeffrey Colley came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Evolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Colley couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, Ash Hudson made a precise shot to the right of Grant Rooney. Evolution's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Diss AFC's Al Bright got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Evolution's Jeffrey Colley in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 40th minute, Drew Warner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Diss AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ash Hudson hit a great ball. Jeffrey Colley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Speight having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeffrey Colley to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Dylon Widdrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean Speight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowan Sharpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Diss AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dylon Widdrington. Grant Rooney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Evolution's goalkeeper Grant Rooney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Paul Porter. Jeffrey Colley might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Speight. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeffrey Colley ran back to his position shaking his head. Wesley Leather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Speight having to interfere. In the 77th minute, John Paul Porter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Evolution's Jeffrey Colley in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 90th play minute John Paul Porter came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Grant Rooney. 1-2. Grant Rooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Hudson in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Evolution's Paul Blackwater got a free kick in the 96th minute.
