The Surbiton 17 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Surbiton 17's Devon Bale got a free kick in the 9th minute. Surbiton 17's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leigh Jewson in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Leigh Jewson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ninfield's Freddie Meehan did a great save. Richard Purvis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Wellings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match, Dom Middlewood got a very nice opportunity to score, but Freddie Meehan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th match minute, Surbiton 17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gus Johnstone to maneuver through the defense. Richard Purvis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rueben Gardener in the 28th minute of play. Richard Purvis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rueben Gardener in the 36th minute of the match. Gordon Wellings scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Purvis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Surbiton 17's Richard Purvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rueben Gardener in the 42nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devon Bale in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Meehan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Surbiton 17's Richard Purvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rueben Gardener in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Wellings made a kick off. Freddie Meehan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devon Bale, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Surbiton 17's Dom Middlewood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddie Meehan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 57 minutes into the match, Ninfield's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Middlewood came free, but Freddie Meehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piers Jennings got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gordon Wellings. Richard Purvis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Wellings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Surbiton 17's Richard Purvis got control of the ball when Mickey Ashton tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Surbiton 17 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Liam Harding hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Ninfield's Gordon Wellings ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Purvis. Richard Purvis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 78 minutes into the match, Devon Bale notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ninfield's Freddie Meehan. Freddie Meehan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Ninfield defense, Devon Bale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddie Meehan. The Ninfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddie Meehan should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Ninfield's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Bale came free, but Freddie Meehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ninfield getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
