Seth Talbot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bobby Walker hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Bobby Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Walls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damon Cousins charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damon Cousins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ninfield's Les Mudd was substituted for Vinnie May. A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Damon Cousins hit a great ball. John Paul Gillow hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Seth Talbot made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mickey Ashton sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Winchester FC's Seth Talbot got control of the ball when Mickey Ashton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Winchester FC got a freekick which was hit by John Paul Gillow. After 35 played minutes Winchester FC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Walls. The audience was convinced that Bobby Walker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddie Meehan was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stew Coton during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ninfield's Stew Coton got a free kick in the 41st minute.

Dom Partridge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Freddie Meehan made a huge save. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ninfield! A collision led to Winchester FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Calvin Walls hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Ninfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Bator to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Bobby Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Winchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rueben Gardener came free, but Seth Talbot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ninfield's Freddie Meehan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Walker in the 69th minute of play. If Bobby Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Talbot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mickey Ashton went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Seth Talbot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Bator in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Winchester FC booed when Ninfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antony Goacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Walker in the 93rd minute of play forced Ninfield's goalkeeper Freddie Meehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seth Talbot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickey Ashton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Rueben Gardener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seth Talbot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ninfield were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Winchester FC for a fine match.
