Travis Chilton had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ralph Mawson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Colindale's Ralph Mawson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Travis Chilton. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. After 46 played minutes Isleworth got a freekick which was hit by Terry Reid. Ralph Mawson might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Travis Chilton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralph Mawson ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute of the match FC Colindale got a corner. Isleworth's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ralph Mawson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Isleworth getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jools Jepson hit a great ball. Travis Chilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Mawson in the 54th minute of play. Ralph Mawson scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Travis Chilton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ralph Mawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Travis Chilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jools Jepson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Ramstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to FC Colindale getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Florian Herzog hit a great ball. Stuart Dobby hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Isleworth's zone, Ralph Mawson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Travis Chilton came out of the goal and Ralph Mawson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kelvin Bridgeworth was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. FC Colindale's Ralph Mawson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, FC Colindale's Gerry Smart made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Travis Chilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Colindale fully deserved thier win.
