The Fiselistic FootballClub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Damian Lincoln fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fiselistic FootballClub's protests and gave Damian Lincoln a yellow card for diving instead. There was no doubt that Winchester FC were the better team. Winchester FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
