Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ritchie Bator to make the kick off. After 61 minutes of play, Ninfield's Mickey Ashton made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 68th minute, Kelvin Bridgeworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rueben Gardener in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Travis Chilton saved Isleworth from getting behind. Mickey Ashton scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Travis Chilton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rueben Gardener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Chilton having to interfere. The supporters of Isleworth booed when Ninfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam Meehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 played minutes Ninfield got a freekick which was hit by Stew Coton. Kelvin Bridgeworth charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kelvin Bridgeworth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Isleworth getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kelvin Bridgeworth hit a great ball. Isleworth's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ninfield had won, even though Isleworth had held more of the ball.
