Marlon Darnbrooke didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Dom Middlewood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marlon Darnbrooke. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sammy Dewhirst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiswick's supporters rose to their feet, but Sammy Dewhirst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Purvis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gus Johnstone hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Sammy Dewhirst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Purvis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Dewhirst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Owen Dunning kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaz Breeden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Surbiton 17's goalkeeper Richard Purvis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sammy Dewhirst. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Clarke got free with Richard Purvis in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Richard Purvis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chiswick's Sammy Dewhirst shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Chiswick played a much better game than Surbiton 17 and deserved their victory. The Surbiton 17 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
