Dean Speight was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ritchie Bator showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ash Hudson made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ninfield's Vinnie May got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Danny Howden fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diss AFC's protests and gave Danny Howden a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Diss AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Danny Howden hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, John Paul Porter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie Meehan. Ninfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that John Paul Porter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
