Jools Jepson's late challenge caught a Evolution's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jools Jepson helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Isleworth got a freekick which was hit by Jools Jepson. In the 14th match minute, Isleworth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Reid to maneuver through the defense. Chesney Stonehouse took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Travis Chilton. Travis Chilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Isleworth's goalkeeper Travis Chilton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Evolution's zone, Eddie Rouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Rooney came out of the goal and Eddie Rouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grant Rooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Butler in the 31st minute of the match. Jeffrey Colley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Travis Chilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Isleworth booed when Evolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Sharpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Lloyd Summerfield shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Travis Chilton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jeffrey Colley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Travis Chilton was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Jools Jepson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Isleworth players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Evolution were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeffrey Colley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Travis Chilton made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Jeffrey Colley sent off a good shot on target. Kelvin Bridgeworth hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Evolution's Vern Deeney got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Travis Chilton made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jeffrey Colley sent off a good shot on target. When Jools Jepson came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Isleworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jools Jepson couldn't finish the play. When Kelvin Bridgeworth fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isleworth's protests and gave Kelvin Bridgeworth a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Isleworth got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Bridgeworth. Evolution's Jeffrey Colley got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Terry Reid took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grant Rooney. Evolution's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Travis Chilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowan Sharpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Jools Jepson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Isleworth got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Bridgeworth. With his leg Travis Chilton managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Evolution's Jeffrey Colley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Travis Chilton made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jeffrey Colley sent off a good shot on target. After 84 minutes of play Isleworth's Jools Jepson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Peter Whitworth lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute, one of Isleworth:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Isleworth. When the match was over Evolution could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Isleworth throughout the match.
