The audience thought a goal was coming when Reg Myers got free with Dylan Duckworth in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute Sebastian Rockett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Duckworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reg Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylan Duckworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Rockett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Fronczak came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reg Myers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dylan Duckworth made a huge save. Shaun Welch kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The Engineers's Tyler Duggan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Freedom. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Freedom from getting a goal against them. In the 25th play minute Reg Myers came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dylan Duckworth. 1-0. Reg Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Rockett to maneuver through the defense. When The Engineers's Sebastian Rockett in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Freedom's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, The Engineers's Stu Peake seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stu Peake the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Engineers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stu Peake had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Freedom a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eduardo Baldovino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Engineers's Kieran Floyd. 1-1. Reg Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Duckworth having to interfere. Gaz Webster kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Chip Culverhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chip Culverhouse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reg Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Duckworth having to interfere. Chip Culverhouse's late challenge caught a Freedom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chip Culverhouse helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Engineers's Chip Culverhouse got a free kick in the 57th minute. Adam Fronczaks short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Kieran Floyd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Edmonton in the 60th minute of play forced Freedom's goalkeeper Dylan Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Freedom's goalkeeper Dylan Duckworth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chip Culverhouse scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Duckworth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sly Hyde kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Reg Myers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan Duckworth having to make a save. After having played for 72 minutes, Reg Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Engineers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reg Myers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reg Myers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keanu Harban kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Chip Culverhouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Chip Culverhouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Engineers's supporters rose to their feet, but Chip Culverhouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Duckworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 91 minutes, Reg Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Engineers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reg Myers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Freedom's Joshua Bedford got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Reg Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Duckworth having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chip Culverhouse in the 95th minute of play forced Freedom's goalkeeper Dylan Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Engineers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
