With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Monk in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barry Tully saved Shaftesbury FC from getting behind. In the 15th minute Garth Monk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Tully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry Tully having to interfere. Barry Tully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Monk in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Shaftesbury FC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Bevan. Peter Humphreys's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Barry Tully firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barry Tully showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Monk, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Shaftesbury FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Garth Monk 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Christian Beasley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shaftesbury FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Beasley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Shaftesbury FC's Kristopher Mumford got a free kick in the 37th minute. Joey Rockett charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joey Rockett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marmarisspor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joey Rockett hit a great ball. Quentin Renner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trev Gardener in the 39th minute of play. Quentin Renner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trev Gardener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Humphreys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the game, Garth Monk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Barry Tully was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute Trev Gardener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Renner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Shaftesbury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Humphreys came free, but Barry Tully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Shaftesbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristopher Mumford to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Garth Monk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shaftesbury FC's Barry Tully was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Humphreys in the 69th minute of play forced Shaftesbury FC's goalkeeper Barry Tully to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Peter Humphreys put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Barry Tully. In the 77th minute, Kristopher Mumford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Humphreys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barry Tully having to make a save. Peter Humphreys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Barry Tully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaftesbury FC's Barry Tully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Monk in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marmarisspor had won after a very even match.
