A beautiful save bye Arcena's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Howson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Terpstra in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Mathias Terpstra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Folan in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Howson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Mathias Terpstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Howson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Meadowcroft took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Howson. Daniel Howson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Daniel Howson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ignazio in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Damian Meadowcroft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Howson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 19 minutes, Tim Archer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arcena and the Husbands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arcena's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Ruben Folan scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Howson, making the score, 3-0. 32 minutes into the game, Nat Tuck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arcena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Husbands the free kick. Ruben Folan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Howson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Damian Meadowcroft sent off a good shot on target. Robin Whitworth kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Husbands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylon Beswetherick to maneuver through the defense. Gav Panther kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Robin Whitworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The wind increased when Edward Saunders made the kick off in the second half. Arcena's Daniel Howson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ignazio in the 52nd minute of play. Charles Hurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Whitworth in the 53rd minute of play. Charles Hurst made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Edward Saunders sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Damian Meadowcroft notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Arcena's Daniel Howson. Daniel Howson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shaun Bowen in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Hurst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Arcena defense, Mathias Terpstra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Howson. The Arcena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Howson should have stopped the shot. Daniel Howson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Terpstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The supporters of Husbands booed when Arcena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Whitworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Howson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Meadowcroft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Lyons could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Charles Hurst made a huge save. After 82 played minutes Arcena got a freekick which was hit by Nat Tuck. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Mathias Terpstra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husbands's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Terpstra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Howson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Saunders got free with Charles Hurst in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Mathias Terpstra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Howson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Terpstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Howson having to interfere. Husbands's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
