Orson Boyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun Bowen in the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Cracovia KS's Dion Smikle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Howson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Saunders in the 20th minute of play forced Cracovia KS's goalkeeper Orson Boyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Edward Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orson Boyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arcena's goalkeeper Daniel Howson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rio Lyons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Edward Saunders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arcena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Saunders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Cracovia KS's goalkeeper Orson Boyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tim Archer. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dion Smikle to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Arcena:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cracovia KS:s goal. The referee gave Cracovia KS a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carl Malpeli, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arcena's Daniel Howson. 0-1. If Shaun Bowen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orson Boyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Saunders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Verne Harkness fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cracovia KS's protests and gave Verne Harkness a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cracovia KS booed when Arcena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Archer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arcena's Robin Whitworth got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Cracovia KS got a freekick which was hit by Verne Harkness. Cracovia KS were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Arcena's much stronger midfield.
