Adam Law fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Golding having to interfere. Alistair Duff kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Adam Law had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryan Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Bryan Dodd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rueben Laycock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rueben Laycock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Dodd went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rueben Laycock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan Dodd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Bryan Dodd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester utd's Rueben Laycock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Manchester utd's Steven Malpeli got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Bryan Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Tristan Burns notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Manchester utd's Rueben Laycock. Rueben Laycock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Lee Tisdale fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rowan Golding, passed just outside the right post. The Manchester utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. London Athletic were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lee Tisdale was the one to do the kick off. Rowan Golding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Law in the 55th minute of play. Adam Law received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rowan Golding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lee Tisdale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Jamie Kelly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester utd and the London Athletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manchester utd's Rueben Laycock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester utd from getting a goal against them. If Bryan Dodd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Burns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rueben Laycock made a huge save. Steven Malpeli kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot 71 in the game by Tristan Burns from a close distance when the talented Rueben Laycock managed to make a qualified save. Manchester utd's players were relieved. Rueben Laycock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryan Dodd's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Manchester utd getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jamie Kelly hit a great ball. Bryan Dodd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Laycock having to interfere. With a little luck, Manchester utd's Rueben Laycock got control of the ball when Tristan Burns tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th of the match, Bryan Dodd tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rueben Laycock got in the way and made a wonderful save. Rueben Laycock made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Tristan Burns sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as London Athletic's Tristan Burns slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rueben Laycock. That made the score 0-5 after 89 minutes of play. During the 91st minute of the match Steven Malpeli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Steven Malpeli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 92nd minute, Steven Malpeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bryan Dodd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adam Law came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Manchester utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Law couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched London Athletic eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
