After a rather tough play, Shaftesbury FC's Kristopher Mumford got a free kick in the 16th minute. Garth Monk scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barry Tully, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Peter Humphreys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Beasley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quentin Renner having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barry Tully came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Marmarisspor's Garth Monk. But to his dismay, Garth Monk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Garth Monk succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 60th minute, Nath Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Humphreys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Barry Tully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Monk in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barry Tully prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peter Humphreys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Barry Tully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Garth Monk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Tully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Christian Beasley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Renner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peter Humphreys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes in the game, Peter Humphreys fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barry Tully having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Peter Humphreys made a precise shot to the right of Barry Tully. Shaftesbury FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Shaftesbury FC's zone, Alfie Fielden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barry Tully came out of the goal and Alfie Fielden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Peter Humphreys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marmarisspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Humphreys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Tully breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marmarisspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
