In the 36th minute, Al Talbot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Jerry Hooker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Talbot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Blair Davey made a huge save. The Skadoosh ! players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kilburn, Westbourne Park were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stan Barber was the one to do the kick off. If Stan Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Blair Davey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Brough in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Tom Perryman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blair Davey skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jerry Hooker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skadoosh !'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Hooker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair Davey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Blair Davey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Mawson in the 67th minute of play. Blair Davey came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Skadoosh !'s Pat Mawson. But to his dismay, Pat Mawson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Kilburn, Westbourne Park's Stan Barber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Craig Cole. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Skadoosh !'s Jerry Hooker got a free kick in the 80th minute. Craig Cole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Nevin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Blair Davey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Talbot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
