Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Andy Reading made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Andy Reading made a precise shot to the right of Denis Ruddock. Centre of Excellence AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rodd Snowdon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andy Reading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ruddock having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Wardell in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Ruddock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Ruddock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Reading in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Centre of Excellence AFC's zone, Mike Wardell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Ruddock came out of the goal and Mike Wardell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Andy Reading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodd Snowdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Denis Ruddock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andy Reading had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Adrian Tyrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rupert Hotte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andy Reading recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andy Reading struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Denis Ruddock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crazy Bastards FC. Andy Reading recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mike Wardell kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Martin Greenfield charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Greenfield the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Crazy Bastards FC's Gordon Gardiner was substituted for Rodd Snowdon. After a rather tough play, Centre of Excellence AFC's Martin Greenfield got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Phil Porter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gordon Gardiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ruddock having to interfere. Gordon Gardiner might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Ruddock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gordon Gardiner ran back to his position shaking his head. Gordon Gardiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupert Hotte charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rupert Hotte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Crazy Bastards FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
