Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oliver Foley started the match with the kick off. Rod Summers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pang Zheng Zhen having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Buster Keane in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denzil Brazier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Everton booed when Broadgreen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corin Corbett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rod Summers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pang Zheng Zhen having to interfere. Everton's Oliver Foley got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Buster Keane scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denzil Brazier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denzil Brazier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corin Corbett in the 23rd minute of play. Denzil Brazier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Kirchberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denzil Brazier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Wallbank in the 27th minute of the match. Everton's Denzil Brazier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corin Corbett in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Broadgreen FC's zone, Rod Summers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pang Zheng Zhen came out of the goal and Rod Summers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Broadgreen FC's Pang Zheng Zhen got control of the ball when Oliver Foley tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Broadgreen FC's zone, Oliver Foley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pang Zheng Zhen came out of the goal and Oliver Foley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Broadgreen FC's Matthias Kirchberg got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Buster Keane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broadgreen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Buster Keane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denzil Brazier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denzil Brazier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corin Corbett, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Everton's Denzil Brazier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Kirchberg in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Pete Silk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Everton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pete Silk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Everton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Broadgreen FC were winning 0-2.

If Oliver Foley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the game, Broadgreen FC's Buster Keane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denzil Brazier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Rod Summers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Foley in the 65th minute of play forced Broadgreen FC's goalkeeper Pang Zheng Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Morrison charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Morrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Morrison kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Oliver Foley hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Denzil Brazier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Wallbank, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Everton's Brad Nethercot seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brad Nethercot the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Everton protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brad Nethercot had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 72 minutes into the game, one of Everton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Denzil Brazier, was totally fooled by Broadgreen FC's Nathan Wallbank, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 80 minutes into the match, Oliver Foley notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Broadgreen FC's Pang Zheng Zhen. Pang Zheng Zhen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denzil Brazier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buster Keane in the 84th minute of the match. Buster Keane's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denzil Brazier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Denzil Brazier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Wallbank in the 87th minute of play. Pang Zheng Zhen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Foley in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Silk in the 89th minute of play forced Broadgreen FC's goalkeeper Pang Zheng Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Broadgreen FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dom Higgins hit a great ball. If Corin Corbett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Broadgreen FC's goalkeeper Pang Zheng Zhen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Broadgreen FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
