After 5 played minutes Viktoria Plzen got a freekick which was hit by 曾常彬. After 12 played minutes Dodge City got a freekick which was hit by Theofanis Papadimidis. Alisson Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesney Wheeler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes Dodge City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seth Higgins who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Seth Higgins got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alisson Stegen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alisson Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Higgins in the 18th minute of play. Danny Button was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Dodge City's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alisson Stegen came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Viktoria Plzen's Craig Lewington. But to his dismay, Craig Lewington quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Dodge City getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Danny Button hit a great ball. Alisson Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesney Wheeler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Higgins in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Dodge City's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Wheeler came free, but Alisson Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chesney Wheeler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisson Stegen having to make a save. Alisson Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig Lewington in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Viktoria Plzen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chesney Wheeler to strike the kick off in the second half. Mario Verschüren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Button, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Craig Lewington, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seth Higgins got free with Alisson Stegen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Seth Higgins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Alisson Stegen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Dodge City's Sebastian Bartram got a free kick in the 59th minute. Marcus Beard struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alisson Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viktoria Plzen. Craig Lewington received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alisson Stegen came out and tried to block the shot, but Craig Lewington slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 62nd minute. Craig Lewington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alisson Stegen made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Seth Higgins sent off a good shot on target. Seth Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alisson Stegen having to interfere. When Chesney Wheeler came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Viktoria Plzen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chesney Wheeler couldn't finish the play. In the 79th match minute, Dodge City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adorján Kaiser to maneuver through the defense. Reuben Cousins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Dodge City's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Cousins came free, but Alisson Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alisson Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chesney Wheeler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktoria Plzen played a much better game than Dodge City and deserved their victory. The Dodge City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
