Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the game, Vance Denham threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wigan's Joshua Crossman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Simeon Clarke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Chadwick having to interfere. In the 21st minute Graham Pope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Chadwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simeon Clarke in the 22nd minute of play forced Mildenhall FC's goalkeeper Duncan Chadwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Branson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duncan Chadwick. Duncan Chadwick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Romeo Platt hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Sid Marsden came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mildenhall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Marsden couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Wigan's zone, Neil Warne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Jenkinson came out of the goal and Neil Warne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warren Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Warne in the 34th minute of play. Simeon Clarke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Duncan Chadwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mildenhall FC's Duncan Chadwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Branson in the 38th minute of play. Duncan Chadwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Branson made a kick off. Neil Warne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Jenkinson having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Mildenhall FC's Dennis Swanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Warren Jenkinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dennis Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Wigan's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Warne came free, but Warren Jenkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wigan defense, Neil Warne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Warren Jenkinson. The Wigan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Warren Jenkinson should have stopped the shot. Wigan's Warren Jenkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Warne in the 67th minute of play. Dennis Swanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dennis Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Warne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warren Jenkinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Swanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Graham Pope kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Mildenhall FC's Neil Warne in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wigan's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wigan's zone, Dennis Swanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Jenkinson came out of the goal and Dennis Swanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mildenhall FC's Ethan Nightingale suffered a concussion after 93 minutes and had to leave the field. Marc Branson charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Branson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wigan's Marc Branson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
