With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phil Vaughn in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Seaward saved Keggers Hill from getting behind. Martyn Renwick hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Duncan Chadwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frazer Pollard in the 14th minute of the match. Loyd Tyson charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Loyd Tyson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duncan Chadwick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Keggers Hill's Jake Hume was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Duncan Chadwick in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Duncan Chadwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frazer Pollard in the 28th minute of the match. Neil Warne kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Jake Hume shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Mildenhall FC's Duncan Chadwick to catch but Jake Hume was lucky. It became 2-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 36th minute, Vance Denham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Chadwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Foster, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Jake Hume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duncan Chadwick. Mildenhall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jake Hume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Phil Vaughn made a kick off. Keggers Hill's Kristian Seaward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Swanson in the 52nd minute of play. Kristian Seaward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sid Marsden in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sid Marsden in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Seaward prevented the ball from getting in the gole. William Foster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Duncan Chadwick made a huge save. Duncan Chadwick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dion Shipley went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Shipley in the 96th minute of play forced Mildenhall FC's goalkeeper Duncan Chadwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mildenhall FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Keggers Hill's performance. The match ended with a win for Keggers Hill.
