Nath Steed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muswell Hill's Vern Wadham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Branson in the 6th minute of play. Warren Jenkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Heath in the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Joshua Crossman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wigan's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Crossman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vern Wadham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nathanial Thorne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muswell Hill's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathanial Thorne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Wigan's zone, Nath Steed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Jenkinson came out of the goal and Nath Steed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nathanial Thorne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Warren Jenkinson having to make a save. After 25 played minutes Muswell Hill got a freekick which was hit by Jordan Bramhall. When Wigan's Simeon Clarke in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muswell Hill's goalie prevented a goal. Vern Wadham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simeon Clarke, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Muswell Hill's Lloyd Cartwright got a free kick in the 29th minute. Nathanial Thorne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Warren Jenkinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Romeo Platt lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathanial Thorne to make the kick off. Nath Steed struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Warren Jenkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muswell Hill. Nathanial Thorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Nath Steed notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Wigan's Warren Jenkinson. Warren Jenkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Warren Jenkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathanial Thorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Darryl Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muswell Hill's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Heath was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Wigan's goal looked a bit too open when Nathanial Thorne came free, but Warren Jenkinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren Jenkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nath Steed in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Nath Steed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 69th minute, Nath Steed left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muswell Hill fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 72nd play minutes Nathanial Thorne shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Warren Jenkinson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 75th match minute, Muswell Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Heath to maneuver through the defense. When Muswell Hill's Nathanial Thorne in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Warren Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathanial Thorne in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Nath Steed notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Wigan's Warren Jenkinson. Warren Jenkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86thth minute of the game Nathanial Thorne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wigan's Warren Jenkinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darryl Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Muswell Hill's Nathanial Thorne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Warren Jenkinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Muswell Hill fully deserved thier win.
