In the 20th minute Robbie Grantham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Husband saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Shipley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Colton went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Sonny Flynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shane Giugno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andy Husband. Anonymous FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Romeo Colton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Anonymous FC defense, Darius Meechan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andy Husband. The Anonymous FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andy Husband should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Anonymous FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pierce Bright hit a great ball. Anonymous FC's Andy Husband played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Meechan in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Anonymous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Miles to maneuver through the defense. Andy Husband showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darius Meechan in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scott Whieldon to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Anonymous FC's goalkeeper Andy Husband had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Grantham. The supporters of Vauxhall FC booed when Anonymous FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Colton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Sonny Flynn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anonymous FC and the Vauxhall FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Darius Meechan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Husband having to interfere. With a little luck, Anonymous FC's Andy Husband got control of the ball when Robbie Grantham tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Canning in the 65th minute of play forced Vauxhall FC's goalkeeper Walter Shipley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Anonymous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Boulding to maneuver through the defense. During the 67th minute of the match Reggie Crane completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Reggie Crane a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Anonymous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Crane to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anonymous FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Andy Husband, was totally fooled by Vauxhall FC's Jo Bolton, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 83 minutes into the game, Scott Whieldon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andy Husband. Scott Whieldon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Walter Shipley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Canning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Anonymous FC booed when Vauxhall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stuart Bradfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Colton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Walter Shipley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Robbie Grantham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Husband. Anonymous FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robbie Grantham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 97th minute, Ritchie Holland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vauxhall FC played a much better game than Anonymous FC and deserved their victory. The Anonymous FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
