Seating: 1945, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerry Buckler started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Leo Ackland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Gerry Buckler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nath Elding. Oddspredator.net's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerry Buckler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Blyth AFC's Gerry Buckler in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oddspredator.net's goalie prevented a goal. Rueben Stone was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leo Ackland hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Blyth AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Greg Oldham hit a great ball. Shaun Silk hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Nath Elding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Buckler in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oddspredator.net's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charles Buard was slow to take the kick. During this time Blyth AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Charles Buard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Oddspredator.net's Nath Elding did a great save. Nath Elding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Paul Long in the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Blyth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ackland came free, but Jack Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nath Elding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Buckler in the 39th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Jack Nicholson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Ackland made a kick off. A collision led to Blyth AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Greg Oldham hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Blyth AFC were awarded a corner. Charles Buard went to the cornerflag to take it. Charles Buard made a great header on Blyth AFC's corner, it was just that Oddspredator.net's Nath Elding managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Buckler in the 61st minute of play forced Oddspredator.net's goalkeeper Nath Elding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaun Silk struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jack Nicholson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oddspredator.net. In the 66th minute, Leo Ackland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oddspredator.net fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jack Nicholson came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Oddspredator.net's Shaun Silk. But to his dismay, Shaun Silk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 75 played minutes Blyth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Buard. In the 77th minute, Rueben Stone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerry Buckler in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nath Elding saved Oddspredator.net from getting behind. A collision led to Oddspredator.net getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Leo Ackland hit a great ball. The supporters of Blyth AFC booed when Oddspredator.net was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Ackland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oddspredator.net's zone, John Paul Long stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nath Elding came out of the goal and John Paul Long tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerry Buckler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Nath Elding skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Oddspredator.net fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blyth AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
