When Theo Beech fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pelsall's protests and gave Theo Beech a yellow card for diving instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jo Rooney to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Rooney in the 55th minute of play forced FC Pelsall's goalkeeper Fryderyk Gajewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Pelsall's Fryderyk Gajewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Rooney in the 96th minute of play. Ladislao Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
