Wolves F.C.'s Wayne Perryman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Roy in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Dragnea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wayne Perryman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th match minute, Wolves F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Barber to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Wolves F.C. defense, Olimpiu Dragnea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wayne Perryman. The Wolves F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wayne Perryman should have stopped the shot. When Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolves F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Dragnea in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wayne Perryman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phil Porter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damion Clay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Lane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Anson in the 33rd minute of play forced Wolves F.C.'s goalkeeper Wayne Perryman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Pilkington's late challenge caught a Goo Goo Dolls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rio Pilkington helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, one of Wolves F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wolves F.C.:s Wayne Perryman showed great skill when he stopped Olimpiu Dragnea:s penalty. A collision led to Goo Goo Dolls getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kenny Anson hit a great ball. Wayne Perryman came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Goo Goo Dolls's Felix Lane. But to his dismay, Felix Lane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Dragnea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wolves F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Kenny Anson scored to the left of an out of position Wayne Perryman, making the score, 0-5. Phil Porter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caleb Llewellyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Wolves F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Dragnea came free, but Wayne Perryman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Wolves F.C. were awarded a corner. Ken Broad went to the cornerflag to take it. Phil Porter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caleb Llewellyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 68 played minutes Wolves F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rio Pilkington. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caleb Llewellyn in the 72nd minute of play forced Goo Goo Dolls's goalkeeper Phil Porter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Wolves F.C. booed when Goo Goo Dolls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Hughes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry Roy in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wayne Perryman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wayne Perryman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dragnea in the 87th minute of play. After 92 minutes Wolves F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olimpiu Dragnea who took care of the corner kick. When the match was over Goo Goo Dolls could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wolves F.C. throughout the match.
