Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marc Mayall made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Watton-at-Stone booed when Blandford Forum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Brayson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Blake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blandford Forum's goalkeeper Pedro Gardner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Blandford Forum's Marc Mayall got a free kick in the 16th minute. Kris Winterbine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louie Tolley hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ryan Harper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Allison, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Lucas Allison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blandford Forum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watton-at-Stone the free kick. Gerry Langford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marty Gale struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watton-at-Stone. Tony Akins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pedro Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kris Winterbine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lucas Allison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 52 played minutes Watton-at-Stone got a freekick which was hit by Sean Chambers. Kris Winterbine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Blandford Forum's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Winterbine came free, but Pedro Gardner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Harper made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Marc Mayall sent off a good shot on target. Marc Mayall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ryan Harper made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Russell Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Sean Chambers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Gardner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Harper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Allison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Kris Winterbine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Kris Winterbine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watton-at-Stone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Winterbine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louie Tolley hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Watton-at-Stone's Gordon Blake got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Mayall got free with Ryan Harper in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Watton-at-Stone were furious when Dennis Trotter was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Allison in the 94th minute of play forced Watton-at-Stone's goalkeeper Ryan Harper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glyn Ramsden's late challenge caught a Blandford Forum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glyn Ramsden helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Watton-at-Stone got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Ramsden. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Watton-at-Stone had won after a very even match.
