In the 20th minute, Michalis Banasopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Ian Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Kapranov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ian Watson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vadim Kapranov was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute Brendon Saville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vadim Kapranov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greengates Goliaths's Hector Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vadim Kapranov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brendon Saville showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. Martynas Timinskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Vadim Kapranov made a huge save. Plaistow United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
