The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute, Romaldkirk AFC's Robbie Arrowsmith ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johnathan Westwood. Johnathan Westwood yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Klement Dunajski took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Johnathan Westwood to make any attempt to save it. Michael Island FC's Johnathan Westwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Wilhelmi in the 19th minute of play. Johnathan Westwood came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Romaldkirk AFC's Ignacy Wilhelmi. But to his dismay, Ignacy Wilhelmi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ignacy Wilhelmi in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Johnathan Westwood, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Johnathan Westwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Arrowsmith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacy Wilhelmis short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Johnathan Westwood to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ignacy Wilhelmi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Johnathan Westwood 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Michael Island FC's zone, Klement Dunajski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnathan Westwood came out of the goal and Klement Dunajski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, Romaldkirk AFC's Ignacy Wilhelmi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnathan Westwood made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 38 minutes into the match, Michael Island FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Wilhelmi came free, but Johnathan Westwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathan Westwood came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Romaldkirk AFC's Ignacy Wilhelmi. But to his dismay, Ignacy Wilhelmi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the last second Johnathan Westwood throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ignacy Wilhelmi in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Romaldkirk AFC's 蒋远森 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Romaldkirk AFC from getting a goal against them. Junior Groom's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 蒋远森 firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 96th minute Robbie Arrowsmith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathan Westwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romaldkirk AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Michael Island FC for a fine match.
