In the 3rdth minute of the game Klement Dunajski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flying Haddocks's Miroslaw Hoffman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacy Wilhelmi in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslaw Hoffman saved Flying Haddocks from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Romaldkirk AFC were awarded a corner. Jason Bartram went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Ignacy Wilhelmi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Flying Haddocks. 3-1. Miroslaw Hoffman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacy Wilhelmi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denny Downes in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 蒋远森 saved Romaldkirk AFC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Romaldkirk AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pierce Ashton came free, but 蒋远森 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romaldkirk AFC's 蒋远森 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Romaldkirk AFC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Flying Haddocks's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Wilhelmi came free, but Miroslaw Hoffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Renwick was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Romaldkirk AFC got a freekick which was hit by Archie Renwick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierce Ashton got free with 蒋远森 in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Klement Dunajski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Flying Haddocks's Miroslaw Hoffman. Miroslaw Hoffman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the game, Abraham Woodyat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flying Haddocks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romaldkirk AFC the free kick. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flying Haddocks! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klement Dunajski was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierce Ashton in the 55th minute of play forced Romaldkirk AFC's goalkeeper 蒋远森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Dunajski in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslaw Hoffman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 蒋远森 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Moon in the 100th minute of play.
