The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theagenis Ksagorarakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 50 minutes, Alf Key took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for John-Paul Snowden to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Horfield's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vasco Freire fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Horfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theagenis Ksagorarakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes in the game, Vasco Freire fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without John-Paul Snowden having to interfere. The Horfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Plaistow United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
