The Ilfracombe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With his leg Gyuro Angeliev managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Leigh AFC's Kris Mulford fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Ilfracombe booed when Leigh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Oğuz Temizsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Leigh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Easter came free, but Lucas Kirk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Jamieson in the 14th minute of play forced Leigh AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Kirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Jim Stayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leigh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Stayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gyuro Angeliev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Ilfracombe's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Mulford came free, but Gyuro Angeliev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Ilfracombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chip Ramsay to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Kirk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Coman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kris Mulford to make the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leigh AFC reached it. The supporters of Ilfracombe booed when Leigh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Conway didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dominic Jamieson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Kirk. That made the score 2-5 in the 88 minute of play. Jeff Conway hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Leigh AFC's Lucas Kirk got control of the ball when Dinu Coman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Leigh AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ilfracombe's performance. The match ended with a win for Ilfracombe.
