Austin Fisher kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Lance Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keepzilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Graeme Silk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Luke in the 10th minute. Keepzilla FC's Paulino Igrejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leigh Barnes in the 11th minute of play. Garth Hickson made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Keepzilla FC's Frazer Simpson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Barnes in the 14th minute of play forced Keepzilla FC's goalkeeper Paulino Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graeme Silk having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lance Luke got free with Graeme Silk in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lance Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute of the match Keepzilla FC got a corner. RonnyFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lance Luke ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Lance Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graeme Silk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Luke in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Jones in the 22nd minute of play forced Keepzilla FC's goalkeeper Paulino Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graeme Silk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Luke in the 23rd minute of play. Lance Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. RonnyFC's Graeme Silk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save RonnyFC from getting a goal against them. Lance Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graeme Silk having to make a save. Lance Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Graeme Silk made a huge save. Lance Luke might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Graeme Silk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lance Luke ran back to his position shaking his head. Lance Luke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Graeme Silk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Lance Luke kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Graeme Silk. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Graeme Silk made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lance Luke sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lance Luke was the one to do the kick off. Garth Hickson made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Barrie Griffin however managed to control. When Lance Luke came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Keepzilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lance Luke couldn't finish the play. Paulino Igrejas was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Leigh Barnes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leigh Barnes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Graeme Silk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Luke in the 61st minute of the match. Paulino Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Jones in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Lance Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graeme Silk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Luke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Graeme Silk having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lance Luke in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Graeme Silk saved RonnyFC from getting behind. Mitch Longley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Graeme Silk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Lance Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RonnyFC's Graeme Silk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Luke in the 78th minute of play. When Garth Hickson fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RonnyFC's protests and gave Garth Hickson a yellow card for diving instead. Garth Hickson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Graeme Silk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mitch Longley came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Keepzilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitch Longley couldn't finish the play. In the 91stth minute of the game Lance Luke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RonnyFC's Graeme Silk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Archie Speight sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Longley hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Lance Luke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Keepzilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
