Argyris Loukoumakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Logan in the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Wang Hao Zheng. Neil Logan might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Argyris Loukoumakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neil Logan ran back to his position shaking his head. Dragoş Gafița took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Li Hai Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Winship got free with Dragoş Gafița in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Allan Winship fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Winship in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Gafița saved Brickhouse FC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the game, Allan Winship cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dragoş Gafița was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
