Inocencio Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. Ampthill FC's Wang Hao Zheng got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Luton Town booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Witsel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Quirze to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Luton Town's Toader Encuțoiu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Luton Town defense, Alvino Serre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Semih Eğriöz. The Luton Town fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Semih Eğriöz should have stopped the shot. Ampthill FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zane Woodhall in the 61st minute. The throw-in from Alexander Busby in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ampthill FC's Wang Hao Zheng. Li Hai Yan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Semih Eğriöz was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Allan Winship capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Allan Winship really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 79 minutes into the match, Allan Winship notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Luton Town's Semih Eğriöz. Semih Eğriöz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Abeijon came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Luton Town's Turabi Altınpınar. Luton Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Winship was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. When Wang Hao Zheng came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ampthill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wang Hao Zheng couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justs Braslavecs in the 95th minute of the match. Semih Eğriöz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ampthill FC's Allan Winship shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-9 in the ordered_time% minute. The Ampthill FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ampthill FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
