Patrick Colbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justs Braslavecs, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justs Braslavecs in the 19th minute of play forced CHK Eagles's goalkeeper Patrick Colbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, CHK Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Tosh Fordham came free, but Patrick Colbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Quirze scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Colbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Semih Eğriöz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Nascimento in the 45th minute.

Patrick Colbert made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Apolo Quirze sent off a good shot on target. Justs Braslavecs kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Luton Town's Jeffrey Peake was substituted for Toader Encuțoiu. After 82 played minutes Luton Town got a freekick which was hit by Justs Braslavecs. Zé Carlos Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, CHK Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Quirze came free, but Patrick Colbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dylon Ronson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Luton Town would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
