Spectators: 8573 (Terracing: 6431, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 171) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arif Oğuz Temizsan started the match with the kick off. Lucas Kirk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Barroso went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the game, Ed Delamore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lucas Kirk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Louis Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Lane took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Kirk. Lucas Kirk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 21st minute, Ivan Hopgood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ed Delamore put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Kirk. 27 minutes into the match, Ivan Hopgood dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Kirk, 6-0. In the 30th minute Arif Oğuz Temizsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ellison Emmenegger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Kirk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Hopgood in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Jeff Townson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Kirk. Jeff Townson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Lucas Kirk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dale Hoskins's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Ellison Emmenegger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Downs, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Ed Delamore made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Leigh AFC defense, Tristan Lane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Kirk. The Leigh AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Kirk should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Celery's Ivan Hopgood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Kirk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Celery's Ed Delamore made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Kirk was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Ed Delamore notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Leigh AFC's Lucas Kirk. Lucas Kirk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Kirk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Delamore in the 69th minute of the match. Jeff Conway kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Leigh AFC's Ralph Dolby was substituted for Blair Nancy. 75 minutes into the match, Ed Delamore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Kirk. Leigh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ed Delamore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. After 78 played minutes Celery got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Lane. 80 minutes into the game, Arif Oğuz Temizsan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-1. Ellison Emmenegger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Celery booed when Leigh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Rose didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leigh AFC's Frankie Higgins was substituted for Jim Stayton. In the 85th match minute, Leigh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Rose to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes of play, Celery's Ed Delamore made it 14-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Kirk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Eddy Backhouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Lane in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Kirk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celery's goalkeeper Ellison Emmenegger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Kirk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ed Delamore went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-1 was the resulting score.
