Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lance Robertson made the kick off which started today's match. Andre Champion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Keane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Wadebridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Gray to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, Great Yarmouth's Damien Nicoll shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Champion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Great Yarmouth reached it. In the 7th minute, Ronny Cain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 8 minutes, Freddy Vine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Yarmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Vine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jordan Straker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11th play minutes Freddy Vine shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Andre Champion and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perry Rayner during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wadebridge's Perry Rayner got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes, Great Yarmouth's Jordan Straker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Champion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Great Yarmouth reached it. Freddy Vine took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Champion. Andre Champion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 26 played minutes Wadebridge got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Cain. The supporters of Great Yarmouth booed when Wadebridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Cain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Cain's late challenge caught a Great Yarmouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Cain helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Wadebridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Cain to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes, Great Yarmouth's Damien Nicoll shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Champion came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Great Yarmouth reached it. 32 minutes into the game, Great Yarmouth's Damien Nicoll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andre Champion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Great Yarmouth's Nick Burns got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Perry Rayner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wadebridge's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Rayner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyn Boyes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Keane came free, but Andre Champion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Perry Rayner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nick Burns kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Vine to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Pierre Bridge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Great Yarmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Bridge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Champion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Vine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Andre Champion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Bridge got free with Andre Champion in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Freddy Vine made a precise shot to the right of Andre Champion. Wadebridge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 67 minutes, Pierre Bridge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Yarmouth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Bridge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wadebridge's Andre Champion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Wadebridge from getting a goal against them. Brian Keane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Champion having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Wadebridge's goalkeeper Andre Champion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Bridge. In the 74th match minute, Wadebridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronny Cain to maneuver through the defense. Andre Champion was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Damien Nicoll. Jordan Straker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gwyn Boyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Cain in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Jake Baldwin notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Great Yarmouth's Gwyn Boyes. Gwyn Boyes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Perry Rayner hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Tony Rayner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Champion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Nicoll in the 87th minute of play. Freddy Vine scored 1-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Champion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Damien Nicoll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Champion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Wadebridge supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Great Yarmouth's performance. The match ended with a win for Great Yarmouth.
