Ashley Driver did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Dominik Flemming 9 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Outwood FC's goalkeeper Dominik Flemming had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ashley Driver. Spike Wiltshire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. John England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Downham in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Kenny Dobson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Flemming was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Dominik Flemming made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ashley Driver sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Verne Lemerond from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Dominik Flemming's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Ashley Driver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rory Downham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Flemming having to make a save. In the 31st minute, Outwood FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ashley Driver fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming got control of the ball when Ashley Driver tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spike Wiltshire in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John England saved Hilsea from getting behind. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Driver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Spike Wiltshire in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John England prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Rory Downham notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Outwood FC's Dominik Flemming. Dominik Flemming was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rory Downham was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Jamal Haigh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Outwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilsea the free kick. Dominik Flemming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Driver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When John Paul Chadwick fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Outwood FC's protests and gave John Paul Chadwick a yellow card for diving instead. 5-0 became the score in the 58th minute when Ashley Driver elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ashley Driver in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Flemming prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Outwood FC's zone, Rory Downham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Flemming came out of the goal and Rory Downham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Spike Wiltshire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Outwood FC defense, Rory Downham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominik Flemming. The Outwood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominik Flemming should have stopped the shot. Jonathon Lennon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Craven took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dominik Flemming. Outwood FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 78 played minutes Outwood FC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Pryor. Dominik Flemming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Dobson in the 78th minute of the match. Hilsea's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kenny Dobson in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Rory Downham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominik Flemming quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rory Downham might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Flemming. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rory Downham ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hilsea getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Christopher Gray hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hilsea's Christopher Gray got a free kick in the 91st minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hilsea fully deserved thier win.
